A Campaign to Drive Engagement with Riverside’s Customer Portal

Riverside commissioned Kaleidoscope to develop a campaign to launch and engage customers with their refreshed digital platform, My Riverside. This platform allows customers to easily manage their homes by reporting repairs, checking accounts, and making payments online. The key challenge was to create a campaign that would stand out amidst wider customer communications and drive higher engagement.

What We Did

Our first task was to establish a distinctive creative concept that would differentiate My Riverside from other Riverside communications. Though the platform had been previously launched, it hadn’t gained the necessary traction, so we needed to ensure that this campaign highlighted its value and relevance to customers.

Drawing on customer insight, we identified the key perceived benefits of the platform: speed and ease of use. To bring this to life, we created a vibrant and bold campaign that combined clear copy lines, abstract photography, and a bright colour palette to visually represent the platform's quick, user-friendly experience.

We also designed a consistent logo device to reinforce the message that My Riverside was accessible anytime, anywhere, and on any device.

The campaign was rolled out strategically across multiple print and digital channels, tailoring content to different customer segments based on their engagement levels and regional variations in service.

Why It Matters

Managing a home can be time-consuming and stressful, and many customers find it overwhelming. My Riverside aims to make this process simpler, empowering users to focus on what really matters to them. By using customer insight to guide our creative approach, we ensured the campaign was grounded in the actual needs and preferences of Riverside's customers.

Impact

The campaign succeeded in delivering a clear, compelling message that resonated with customers, driving greater engagement with the My Riverside platform. Through creative use of insight and tailored content, we helped make the platform feel indispensable for those managing their homes.
