Thrive

Thrive is a two-year project funded by Research England. The project is led by the University of Liverpool and is being run in partnership with the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and Advance HE.

The project is dedicated to redefining how research teams operate, with a special focus on encouraging greater diversity and inclusivity. The aim is to develop and define a new model of team-based working, which will be piloted through AHRC this year.

As the agency commissioned to collaborate with Thrive on this project, we were required to create an identity for the project to convey a sense of teamwork, diversity, inclusivity, and connection to research.

It needed to promote accessibility and inclusivity for those who don’t typically consider themselves part of the research environment and celebrates a diversity of voices.

We developed a simple and effective logo and corresponding brand look and feel, to accurately represent collaborative and diverse aim of the project, as well as a number of corresponding assets to aid the team throughout the lifecycle of Thrive.
