We have worked with School Improvement Liverpool to develop and deliver an ongoing campaign, Growing Stronger, to help people of all ages grow and recover from Adverse Childhood Experiences or ACEs.

 

ACEs have been defined as “highly stressful, and potentially traumatic, events or situations that occur during childhood and/or adolescence. They can be a single event, or prolonged threats to, and breaches of, the young person’s safety, security, trust or bodily integrity.” (Young Minds, 2018). Studies have shown that experiencing ACEs can have an impact on our future physical and mental health.Using an multi-layered, multi-channel model we have delivered a campaign across Liverpool to target people of all ages to help them grow and recover from ACEs. This has seen the development of a name, core identity and website through to ads running across out of home sites, local media titles and social media; an explainer animation; video content and the production of collateral for use in training sessions with professionals.We are proud to have played a role in this campaign on a vital issue that affects so many of us within our communities and lives.
